Whether you’re here to stop the cycle of dieting, want to stop hating your body, or want to manage a chronic health condition, I’m here to support you! Individual nutrition counseling provides a welcoming, non-judgmental environment to discuss and seek solutions to your concerns.

My Approach

My practice is rooted in the Health at Every Size and Intuitive Eating frameworks, meaning all bodies are accepted and respected here. Our work together focuses on helping you develop eating patterns and behaviors that support overall well-being, not on shrinking your body.

While I do not provide weight loss counseling services, I strive to provide a comfortable space to unpack food and body image concerns, while working towards your individual goals such as less anxiety about eating, reconnecting to your body’s hunger and fullness cues, more energy, improved fertility, and improved lab values.

  • Nutrition therapy for health concerns such as polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS), high cholesterol, & high blood pressure

Initial Assessment - $150

Our first session is a 60 minutes long assessment and evaluation to learn more about your relationship with food, current health concerns, big picture goals for working together, and more. Request an appointment!


 
 
 
 

Follow-Up Appointment - $99

45 minute appointments for ongoing support and goal review. Unlimited messaging is available between sessions.

Package 1 - $267

3 45 minute follow-up sessions at a 10% savings.

Package 2 - $535

6 45 minute follow-up sessions at a 10% savings.

  • Multimedia tools and resources (like podcast episodes, recipes, articles, etc.) to enhance our work between sessions.

  • Unlimited private messaging for extra support.

  • Compassionate, non-judgmental care and practical nutrition recommendations tailored to your unique needs.

  • I will NEVER recommend rigid meal plans, restrictive diets, or counting points, calories, or macros.

I see clients virtually through a secure video platform, so you can access me anywhere in the United States! Please note that in some states I provide Intuitive Eating and body image coaching only.

Frequently asked Questions

+ DO YOU ACCEPT INSURANCE?

At this time, I do not currently accept insurance, however, you can request a receipt (superbill) you can submit to your insurance provider for reimbursement. Please check with your insurance provider in advance of your appointment to determine if they reimburse for out-of network nutrition counseling with a registered dietitian nutritionist.

+ WHAT TYPE OF PAYMENT DO YOU ACCEPT?

I take payment by credit card or flex spending/health savings card. Your card must be kept on file when you schedule your first session and will be charged at the end of each session, unless you purchased a package upfront.

+ Do you offer a sliding scale?

I offer a limited number of sliding scale spots. Please ask me about this if you are in need. I realize nutrition counseling isn't accessible to everyone and I want to do my best to help.

+ HOW DOES VIRTUAL COUNSELING WORK?

I see clients through a private and secure platform called Better. When you set up your first appointment with me, you’ll be invited to create a profile and be granted access. Sessions are conducted over video chat, so you’ll need an internet connection and a computer with a webcam or you can download the app on your smart phone. All paperwork, payment, and messaging is also done through the Better platform.

+ WHAT IS INTUITIVE EATING?

Intuitive Eating is a flexible, non-diet, mind-body approach to eating and exercise that considers physical, mental, and emotional health. It has 10 guiding principles that help you become attuned with your body’s natural hunger, fullness, and satisfaction cues, while helping you unlearn unhelpful rules and beliefs about food and your body. + CAN I STILL WORK ON INTUITIVE EATING IF I WANT TO LOSE WEIGHT?

Absolutely. Most people who begin this work are here because they are frustrated with the restrict/binge cycle diets perpetuate and want to try a different approach. It’s ok to start wherever you are. However, it is difficult to listen to your body’s cues around hunger, fullness, and satisfaction if you aren’t willing to put weight loss aside during our work together. I help you explore and work through your beliefs about weight loss and how the pursuit of weight loss is keeping you stuck in the never ending diet cycle.

+ WILL INTUITIVE EATING HELP ME LOSE WEIGHT?

Intuitive Eating is not a diet. One of three things will happen when you practice Intuitive Eating but I can’t predict which it will be for you: you lose weight, your weight stays the same, or you gain weight. After years of yo-yo dieting, Intuitive Eating can help your weight stabilize to a healthy weight for your body.

+ I’M RECOVERING FROM AN EATING DISORDER. CAN YOU HELP ME?

Please be aware that while I'm not a Certified Eating Disorder Registered Dietitian (CEDRD), I do have experience working with clients who are struggling with/are in recovery from an eating disorder. I consider each client individually before working together, and will do my best to provide referrals to other clinicians who might be a better fit for you. I also participate in regular supervision with more experienced providers to ensure I'm practicing ethically and safely.

+ I HAVE A HEALTH CONDITION. CAN I STILL LEARN HOW TO EAT INTUITIVELY?

100% yes. I absolutely love helping my clients do this! There is a misconception that Intuitive Eating ignores health concerns, but this couldn’t be further from the truth. You can learn how to ditch harmful messages and judgments about food and your body AND learn how to best care for your individual health needs.

+ I SEE THAT YOU SPECIALIZE IN PLANT-BASED NUTRITION. DOES THAT MEAN I HAVE TO BE VEGETARIAN/VEGAN TO WORK WITH YOU?

Absolutely not. While plant-based nutrition is a specialty and interest for me, I’m not here to tell anyone how to eat. That choice is completely up to you! I see clients with a variety of eating patterns, from “doesn’t really like vegetables” to “eats all plants.” This is a non-judgmental space to explore what works for you. If plant-based nutrition IS your thing, I can help with that, too!
